The Abacos Islands in the Bahamas are great if you are looking for something that is a little more off the beaten path. You can fly into Marsh Harbor or Treasure Cay and then rent a boat to explore all of the smaller surrounding islands or stay on Great Abacos Island. Either way, the views are spectacular and there are so many things to explore! The Hope Town Lighthouse is a must! Once you climb to the top of this landmark, you can see miles of crystal clear water! Firefly Vodka has a bar & grill on Elbow Cay that has a lobster quesadilla that is to die for! Try the apple pie moonshine when your there! Head to Nippers on Great Guana Cay on Sunday for their weekly Pig Roast and a good time. If your looking for something a little more laid back, Grabbers is nearby and has hammocks to sip your Goombay Smash in. If you are feeling adventurous, head over to Munjack Cay and hang out with sting rays for the day! Lastly, Sushi Night at Treasure Sands Club is something you can not miss! You will feel like you are at an upscale restaurant without ever leaving the relaxing vibes of island life! During our trip, we stayed at The Bahama Beach Club in Treasure Cay. I highly recommend staying here and renting a boat to check out the other nearby islands! After all, Treasure Cay was named one of the top 10 beaches in the world by National Geographic… so who can argue with that!
That’s sounds great. Love the gastro recommendations.
